Our founder, Alfred E. Lentz, graduated from Lamar University in 1968 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering. After 20 years of working on many commercial, residential and public infrastructure projects, he decided to create his own civil engineering firm. From this, Lentz Engineering was born.
The current president, Jarrod D. Aden, has over 20 years of experience in civil engineering, environmental consulting, real estate inspection and construction experience. He currently specializes in hydrologic modeling, public infrastructure and commercial site development.

Our team at Lentz Engineering is dedicated to providing the best possible engineering services. All of our engineers are highly educated and our senior engineers have years of experience with many different kinds of projects.
We have worked as the consulting district engineers for both Brazoria Drainage District No. 4 and the Galveston County Consolidated Drainage District. Our engineers are skilled in construction management, commercial site development, residential site development, platting, feasibility studies, stormwater drainage and paving design.

Jarrod D. Aden is president and owner of Lentz Engineering, LLC. He has over 16 years of experience in civil engineering and 6 additional years of environmental consulting, real estate inspection, and construction experience.
As a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, he has specialized in commercial developments, municipal utility districts, and land development projects. He is trained in the use of HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS software used for hydrologic modeling and acts as the Drainage District Engineer for Galveston County Consolidated Drainage District.
David L. Randolph has over 18 years of experience in civil engineering and project management. He has worked on many different projects for both private and government sectors. With years of being a licensed professional engineer in the State of Texas, he has managed scheduling and budgeting for numerous assignments, including multiple federal flood damage reduction projects in Harris County.
He also has excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates proactive leadership abilities. His education, coupled with real-world experience, gives him a competitive advantage and solid insight that is instrumental to successfully completing work for his clients.
David specializes in commercial and residential site development, as well as platting. He is also skilled with the advanced software used for hydrology and hydrologic modeling.
Brian Miller has over 25 years of experience in the civil engineering and land surveying professions. He has worked on public and private sector projects, and has completed numerous projects around Texas.
Brian has demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively with government agencies, clients, contractors, and sub-consultants. His problem-solving skills encompass issues that occur within project management and coordination, design elements, governmental review processes, construction, and software applications.
